Rooted Dell Streak? Grab this custom recovery image
For those of you who are helpless to the endless call of options for customizations (I feel your pain), and specifically those who have a rooted Dell Streak, xda-developers member mistadman has posted something that should tickle your fancy: a Clockwork-based recovery image that feels like the Streak’s stock recovery! The following features have been implemented in this open source project, as listed in the xda thread: Features: – Landscape orientation – Capacitive buttons – First stage of the two stage camera button works – Signature verification setting survives reboot (disabled by default) – Good suggestion gingernator007! – More to come! Chrome OS ready for enterprise with Citrix
Yesterday’s Chrome OS event yielded some significant details about Google’s upcoming entrance into the desktop and laptop market with their web and cloud based light-weight operating system. Chrome OS is already a “must try” piece of software for tinkerers, but Cloud printing and encrypted storage indicate that Chrome could be heading in another direction: business.
