Mobile editing of Google Docs
THe day Android users have been waiting for has arrived! Well, one of the less significant days…and it hasn’t quite arrive, but it will soon–like this week–for those carrying Android 2.2, English: the ability to edit Google Docs on the go has been announced over at the Google Mobile Blog .
Dell Stage launcher available for 2.2 devices
Dell’s upcoming Stage UI, which we saw running on the Streak last week, has been extracted for use on other 2.2 devices is available over at xda-developers . The original thread , where warnings, instructions, and a download link can be found, indicates that a rooted Android 2.2 installation is required, though the xda post suggests that non-rooted phones should handle the launcher well. I little extra tweaking is required for landscape view, but as you can see in the image below (EVO running Stage on top of MIUI), portrait mode works perfectly.
