I don’t cook my own ROMs, and when I run someone else’s switching from “show all animations” to “show some animations” is one of the first steps I take in customizing whatever flavor of Android I’m running. But those of you that dig sliding panels and the like will love this: a guide on adding custom transition to cooked ROMs from xda-developers. Of course not all of us are up to the task of implementing the feature ourselves, but we can appreciate the efforts of others.
